Annie Martineau is the Vice President, People and Culture at Sagard and joined the firm in 2023. Annie is responsible for overseeing all human capital strategic and operational aspects. Her focus areas in human resources are growth and transformation strategies as well as talent and leadership development. Annie is partnering with the President and the Leadership team. She is based in Montreal, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Annie was the Vice President, Human Resources at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), acting as a strategic partner to the leadership team to deliver effective HR solutions and support the execution of transformations and business plans, while ensuring the delivery of a great Employee Experience (EX). She also has extensive Human Resources experiences in the pharmaceutical sector and worked as a lawyer in a large law firm at the beginning of her career.
Annie holds a law degree LL.B from Université de Montréal, is a member of the Barreau du Québec and holds an MBA from HEC Montréal.
