Firas Mallah is Managing Director, Head of Middle East for Sagard and expected to be the Senior Executive Officer for Sagard (MENA) Ltd.
Prior to Sagard, Firas served as the CEO of MENA for Gilded, a US Fintech. Prior to Gilded, Firas served as the MENA Senior Representative Officer and the Managing Director of BMO-Bank of Montreal’s regional office in Abu Dhabi and later founded and was Managing Partner at MMK Capital, a DIFC-based multifamily office.
Earlier, he was Head of Middle East for Dexia Asset Management. Firas has held many board positions in his career including at International Investment Bank Bahrain, Slird.com and MMK Capital.
Firas holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut. He has recently completed a course in Family Office Wealth Management from Harvard Business School. He is also an IFC Certified Board Director.
