Jawad Syed Qazi is an Associate at Sagard Private Equity Canada. Jawad joined the firm in 2022 and is based in Montreal, Canada.
Prior to joining Sagard, Jawad was a Private Equity Analyst at Novacap, one of Canada’s leading middle market buyout and growth equity fund with over $8 billion of assets under management. As a member of the industries deal team, Jawad was actively involved in the execution of platform and add-on investments in North America across a number of different industrial sectors ranging from manufacturing, distribution, agriculture, healthcare and nutraceutical. Jawad started his career in public audit at Deloitte.
Jawad holds a B.Com in Accountancy and a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Professional Accountancy (CPA) from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder.
