Lee oversees North American fundraising activities platform-wide within the capital formation team based out of New York City.
Most recently he led capital raising globally at Mubadala Capital (MC), a UAE sovereign-captive alternative asset manager with offices in Abu Dhabi, New York, San Francisco, London, and Rio de Janeiro. At MC, he built the team responsible for commercializing investment capabilities across PE, VC, Special Sits, Solutions and co-investments within institutional, retail, high net worth, and sovereign channels.
Prior to MC, Lee led institutional fundraising and consultant relations at BMO Global Asset Management. He joined BMO after a combined 18 years in capital formation leadership roles at BlackRock and predecessor Barclays Global Investors.
Lee holds an AB in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a CFA charterholder.
