Melissa Cook is a Senior Director, Portfolio Accounting, responsible for the oversight of the accounting functions and reporting for Sagard Real Estate’s $1.0 billion open-ended real estate funds. Melissa has 17 years of accounting and fund experience including 5 years in public accounting servicing financial institutions.
Prior to her role at Sagard Real Estate, Melissa was a Fund Oversight Manager at Janus Henderson Investors where she led a team through the Company’s corporate merger and established processes for the middle and back office functions for the open-ended funds. Before that, she was a Senior Auditor at KPMG. Melissa received her B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
